In 1966, a champion was born. Samer Kamal fell in love with Taekwondo in 1980 and quickly rose to become a national champion by 1982. Over the next eight years, he represented Jordan internationally, winning numerous medals. In 1986, he secured a silver medal in Asia, followed by a bronze medal at the 1988 Seoul Olympics—becoming the first Jordanian to achieve this honor..

Samer also won gold at the 1988 Luxembourg Open. In 1990, he opened Champions Taekwondo Center in Jordan and Canada. With his 9th Dan Black Belts from KUKKIWON, Chung Do Kwan, and JidoKwan, Samer has promoted over 3,500 black belts worldwide..
